From Cambridge and Countdown to Im a Celeb: See Carol Vordermans AMAZING transformation here
Carol Vorderman arrived on our screens aged just 21 as the mathematician on daytime TV show Countdown, where she wowed audiences with her impressive skills for 26 years!
At just 17, she was one of the youngest women to go to Cambridge university- to study a degree in engineering- so solving difficult maths problems on the telly was a walk in the park for her.
The mum-of-two had brains and beauty beauty which eventually made her one of the highest paid women in television, reportedly earning £1 million a year! Alongside her regular co-presenting role at Countdown, she tried her hand at a number of other presenting roles. Better Homes, Pride of Britain Awards and Loose Women have all been regular jobs for her along with a stint in reality TV including our faves Strictly Come Dancing and Im a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Over the past 30 years, Carol has shown age is just a number and as her 60th birthday draws closer she doesnt intend on slowing down.
In 2015 she obtained her pilots licence and has plans to fly solo around the world in her private jet. This woman really can do everything!
Carol has only got better with age, so lets take a look at her incredible transformation.
