Parkland Father Says All He Wants Is 10 Minutes Alone With Shooter

Andrew Pollack says he just wants 10 minutes alone in a room with the Parkland shooter who took the life of his daughter, Meadow.
Nikolas Cruz, who has been charged in the shooting that killed Meadow and 16 others at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, announced through his attorney that he wanted to donate his inheritance to the families of his victims — but Pollack said he was not interested.
Pollack told ABC News that he proposed a “counter-offer” instead, saying that no amount of money could ever take away the pain of losing his little girl. “I dont want none of his money. Id rather be alone in a room with him for 10 minutes. If he wants to give that, thats better than any money he could give me.”
Pollack is not alone in his sentiments. His son Hunter tweeted that he, too, would like some time alone with Cruz.
No amount of money can fix that our princess is gone. I couldnt agree with you more Dad. Let him face us like a man, and see the aftermath of what he did by taking our beautiful Meadow. No time for sympathy now! https://t.co/RQ1b9VtUGX

Patricia Paduay, whose son Joaquin was also killed that day, stopped short of asking to confront Cruz personally, but agreed that she wanted none of his money.
“Personally, I dont want to take a dime from him. Hes part of this whole horrible story. Hes a person who didnt care for people that he shot. If hes caring about something, he should be caring for people like him with mental problems.”
